Background:
QCB Solutions/John brings real world experience to the table as a successful seminar leader with Fred Pryor Seminars, and SkillPath Seminars facilitating in England, Australia, New Zealand, USA, and across Canada. John started his career with the Royal Air Force, where he worked as an Aircraft Engineer, servicing and repairing numerous gas turbines, including the Allison T56-16, Rolls Royce Dart, Spey, and Avon engines. John's first 'real' job was as a Sales Engineer with Loctite UK, and is very proud of his "Master Salesman" of the Year award. He then increased and improved his 'people skills' experience with many years in Materials Handling as an UK Sales Manager, and Field Sales Training Manager, (Lancer Boss), and he ran his own Steinbock Fork Truck Distribution Company. He also brings much management experience with him from his time as the National Field Sales Manager with Europe's largest vending company (Polyvend).
Before John came to Canada, in 1992, he was the corporate training director, (Dexion UK); John implemented numerous processes, including: Business Writing for Success, Continuous Improvement, Kanban, Leadership, MBO, Negotiating to Win, Public Speaking Techniques. During this period John also implemented Total Quality Customer Care, Short Cycle Management, Time and Self-Management, and BS5750 Certification (ISO/QS predecessor).
In Canada he gained much experience with Canadian Bearings and Dunn & Bradstreet before joining Fred Pryor Seminars in 1997, and forming his own professional coaching organization in 1999. He has worked extensively with SkillPath Seminars since 2005, and Canadian Training Resources since 2008.
